Bio Pellets Bio Pellets is a pellet processing plant located near Deer River, Minnesota. Our wood burning pellets are made from Aspen (hardwood) by-products or sawdust. The sawdust is compacted and dried through a mill resulting in an environmentally friendly source of heat. Not only are our pellets coming from a renewable source, but they also have fewer unwanted emissions than other heating sources. The pellets are 1/4" or 3/8" in size making them compatible with most pellet burning stoves. Our ash content is less than1% and the moisture level is below 6%. Since Aspen trees are considered hardwood, you have longer burning efficiency with our pellets. Committed to quality!
